How to decide whether or not to debate others (or otherwise point out problems with content) on the internet:

Smartass answer: Don’t.
Real answer: Ask yourself:

“Will communicating what I want to say bring me closer to or push me further away from my overall goal?” and “Is this really worth my time?”

If it isn’t serving you, and it isn’t likely to be received well by the people it is intended for, skip it.

Life is short. Your time will be much more effectively spent promoting what you love than it ever will be pointing out what you don’t.
