“My life has a superb cast but I can’t figure out the plot.”

The funny thing about this statement is that it’s true. I’m sure it’s true for many (or even all) of us.

What I also find funny is that if I replace “my life” with “my adventure“, I also think it applies…

I mean, besides the cool cast of people who have become an active part of my adventure by following it closely and interacting with me along the way, I’ve also met some rather interesting characters like:

• Mark Zuckerberg – founder of Facebook
• Jamie Hyneman – one of the Mythbusters
• Ethan & Malachai Nicolle – Creators of Axecop.
• Bo Stevenson / FiestaBo – Actor. Assistant to Tom Hanks on Larry Crowne.
• Doug TenNapel – creator of Earthworm Jim
• Tres Shannon – co-founder of VooDoo Doughnut
• Michael Brown – Emmy winning filmmaker, founder of Outside Adventure Film School
• Ryan Van Duzer – Adventure film maker, reality tv personality, all around cool guy (Out of the Wild: Venezuala)
• Jeff Evans – World-renowned climber, adventurer and author. Reality tv personality (Expedition Impossible)
• Hosts of Sacramento & Co.
• Peggy LaCerra, writer for Spirituality & Wellness
• Multiple TV reporters
• Hosts of Sacramento & Co. morning show
• Multiple casting directors
• A book publisher
• Then all the National Parks I’ve visited…
• All the company tours I’ve taken…
• And more…

And to think I’ve kind of been a recluse for the past 7 months.

Kind of crazy when I think about it — certainly none of this would’ve happened if I was still sitting behind that monitor for 70 hours a week.
