Teens

Teen 1: Hey, I finally beat that tough level!
Teen 2: Awesome! How many tries did it take you?
Teen 1: Oh man, at least 50! Maybe 100 times! It was brutal, but I finally got it!
Teen 2: Awesome.

10 Years later…

20-something 1: Man, my job really sucks. Life sucks. I’ll never find a job that: (I like) / (is fulfilling) / (allows me to do something I enjoy) …
20-something 2: That sucks. How many jobs have you had since you’ve been on your own?
20-something 1: Two.
20-something 2: Yeah, that really does suck.

10 Years later…

30-something 1: So the business I started is failing. Looks like the end of my dream. I have to go back to working for the man…
30-something 2: That sucks. How many times have tried starting your own business?
30-something 1: Once.
30-something 2: Yeah, that really does suck.

“The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way.” — Robert Kiyosaki

What if…

Parent 1: Well, it’s so sad, but it looks like little Jimmy will never walk…
Parent 2: Why? Does he have a disability or something?
Parent 1: No, he tried walking a couple times today and failed.
Parent 2: I’m so sorry.

“Anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength.” — Unknown
